BOOTH HOUSE
44 Bridge Street, Sydney
1/12
Dr Charles Eichler was the go-to man for grisly murders in Sydney during the late 1800s.
The surgeon owned Frankfort - the building which housed his practice on what is now the corner of Bridge and Young Streets, the future site of Booth House. The building is in the 1870 picture of Bridge Street looking west in the Bridge Street gallery and was first labelled as Dr Eichler's property in the 1880 Dove map in the Maps gallery.
