DA for Sandstone precinct
Detailed plans and drawings to redevelop the Lands and Education buildings into a hotel complex are available for review on the Sydney City Council planning page - the link is below. While the impact on Bridge Street appears to be minimal, please take a look and determine for yourself. There is to be no carpark and the major modern addition is to the roof of the Education building, softened somehwat with garden planting. The main issue for Booth House would appear to be the impact of the works during construction. The DA exhibition period ends on 16 December 2016, submissions in response can be made on line through the web page below.
