The inscription under this drawing says: "44 Bridge Street" - Built during 1938 for Fredk. H. Booth & Sons Pty. Ltd. by W. Hughes & Co Pty. Ltd. Tender accepted 2nd December 1937 for $57,438 (£28,719.0.0) Occupied 13th January 1939. Sold to J.R. Rubensohn & Co Pty. Ltd. 9th October 1973 for $1,125,000.00. Dated December 1937 this is presumably based on the building's plans. It shows the tiling on the columns.
